MORE IS MORE

Hey Hippies!

We're still high on outerwear and show no signs of coming down. Drink some cool-aid with us! We're continuing on this jacket trip.
Behold, the subject of our bender, the materials of our binge:

1. THE LADYBUG
Embroidered placket and flanked with antique ribbons and things, we're  going for Folksy: Hansel and Gretel go to stay with the Inuit.
Size Small, $550.00 USD

The Ladybug in progress:

2. PINEAPPLE PRINCE
(Same story, different day)
Size Medium $550.00
The Pineapple print ribbon, an homage to our Palm-beach loving Grandmother
(God rest her Pucci-loving soul)

3. RED POXS
The old girl's made from the softest quilted cotton in silver, with a quilted yolk flanked in cherry red.
With a lining that reminds us of some very upmarket chicken pox.
Size Medium $480.00

4. HORSE and HOUND
We took some stuffy old toile and paired it with remnants of an antique plaid dress mother had lying around.
Size Medium $450.00

(we're painfully aware of how are jackets are much cuter than our selfies)

5. JESTER
Jester is made from some pretty badass paisley, and piped in turquoise.
Size Small-Medium, $450.00
so thats pretty much all you need to know.
Jester gets made:

6. DORIAN
(Inspired by a Wilde Child, we don't want to keep her in a closet)
Size Small $520.00
With dog lining, of course.

7. CHARLOTTE
Size S/M $420.00

8. PANEMA
We were kind of vibe-ing with a little Frida-Diego action here; further feeding our love of INDIGO, and turquoise respectively, and adding upper arm bands with some serious ribbon.
Size Medium $480.00
(Because everyone looks better with jewelry, for real. Its the magpie effect)

9. BUTTERCUP
Size Small, $550.00
We don't have anything clever to say about her. But she's bold enough to stand on her own, and she's not super interested in our peanut gallery commentary anyway.

10. MUSE COAT
We're going for Petit Prince meets Edie Sedgewick, get it?
She sold immediately through Instagram, but we'd think about making another.

This is the kind of midnight work which, without prescription medication or stimulants, pushes one over the edge:
But we've always like edges. All the fun people are partying on the other side.

MILITARY MUSES

Yo Dudes and Babes,
Happy Monday right?
We're totally stoked to be here.
In our jacket making addiction of late,
(the first step is admitting you have a problem)
We've been feeling a bit of a military, nautical-edwardian thing:

Stitching ribbons and things to make loops and plackets

As its Monday, we're going to need to call on the muses,
and generally its a good idea to start with Hendrix, so turn up the volume, baby:

The hat which we need:
Flipping mind-blowing antique gold:
Buttons to covet:

 Teddie Girl:

Balmain's riff on the whole thing, which we could happily eat for breakfast with a spoon.
Whats better than Balmain? Lou wearing Balmain:

Patti was on board:

And we come full circle to end on a high note, with Hendrix again, Because we like a loop.
And Because the man was born to wear that jacket. Too cool.
