WE TOOK SOMETHING OLD AND MADE IT NEW:
YOU KNOW HOW WE KEEP TALKING ABOUT THE FRENCH RAG YARD?
WE PICKED UP THIS INCREDIBLE GAUZY TABLECLOTH THERE, AND WITH ITS BLOODY RED BATIK DRIPS AND MONKEY AND POMEGRANATE MOTIF, WE KNEW WE HAD TO TAKE THAT OLD RAG AND CUT INTO HER TO MAKE SOMETHING. BECAUSE AS MUCH AS WE DO LIKE TO WRAP OURSELVES TOGA STYLE IN SHEATHS, ITS NOT ALWAYS SO PRACTICAL FOR CITY LIFE. AND SO WE WENT ALL MARIA VON TRAPP ON THAT THING (WE KNOW WE KNOW, THAT WAS CURTAINS SHE USED, SO DID SCARLETT WHEN SHE WAS IN A PINCH, BUT WE ARE TALKING TEXTILE REPURPOSING, AND ITS ALL PART OF THE SAME BRAIN WAVE, SOUND OF MUSIC STYLE.)
AND WE HAD TO TAKE MAMAN'S CORAL NECKLACE AND PUT IT ON OUR HEAD. BECAUSE MOST HIPPIE DRESSES ARE ENHANCED BUT SUCH HEADGEAR.
(SOUTH OF FRANCE JESUS STYLE)
YES BUTTERCUP, THAT REALLY WAS A TABLECLOTH.
BUT ITS SO MUCH BETTER ON OUR BODY.
ONE OF A KIND ALIX OF BOHEMIA VON TRAPP DRESS, MADE FROM AN ANTIQUE FRENCH TABLECLOTH.
WE DON'T WANT TO PART WITH HER; BUT WE'LL THINK ABOUT IT. INQUIRE HERE.
