WHEN FRIENDS COME TO PLAY: GYPSY FINGERS

We very much like inviting characters we happen to meet over to play.
And if you are a character who happens to be in a band called 'GYPSYFINGERS',
we're probably going to want to be your friend, in addition to making you play dress- up with us.

This is Victoria, singer in the aforementioned band.
in addition to her gypsy fingers,
she has locks like spun gold,
and she was totally throwing us this Annie Hall meets Stevie Nicks vibe.

She's about to go on tour, and she needed some bohemian togs to get her through life on the road. We say, welcome darling, you've come to the right place. Let's start:
Victoria wears
Alix of Bohemia Jade Raggedy jacket
and a custom jumpsuit in Minted India.
And then we try the whole thing in Red,
just to see how we feel about the extremes of the colour wheel.

in between costume changes, and drank mugs of ginger tea, and we talked about very important matters,
like flower crowns, tambourines and French men.
And finally,
Victoria wears the Alix of Bohemia
Margherita Dress, in daisy chain,
fully fulfilling her flowerchild destiny.
now you've seen our work, let us share hers:

in other news,
we're sort of half hippie, half machine
as we've been sewing like banshees preparing for our little opening this evening at
a little peak at what we've been preparing, because we really like you:

Come along! its going to be fun:

BOHEMIANS: OH THE PLACES YOU'LL GO

We do get a kick out of seeing where our clothes go, even when we are stuck behind our sewing machine.
(Our clothes have have far more glamourous advenutures then we)
Enter Fouché
(it rhymes with 'soufflé')
showing off a little, en route from Saint Tropez:

the ALIX of BOHEMIA Saffron Dress
being fancy in the sky,
perfectly paired with those nude gladiators.

Then sweet Nikki sent postcards from the shores of Javea
(it is so very useful having beautiful people wear our clothes)
The ALIX of BOHEMIA Duckie Dress:
In shades of sherbet against the shore.

Where do you wear your Bohemia?
We are longing to know!
Send us images, and stories if you please? here.

EMMA AND ISABEL

THE BEAUTIFUL AND DARLING EMMA
CAME TO US FOR SOME LAST MINUTE SUMMER DRESS ACTION BEFORE RUNNING AWAY TO FRANCE FOR THE SEASON.
AND WE PROPOSED, A MAXI CALLED THE
ALIX OF BOHEMIA
ISABEL DRESS
IN JASMINE FLOWER COTTON PRINT, WITH ROWS AND ROWS OF ANTIQUE INDIAN LACE.
MOST THINGS ARE ENHANCED BY A BIT OF INDIAN ANTIQUITY, WE FIND.

AND MAY WE SAY EMMA DOES MAKE OUR ISABEL DRESS LOOK SUBLIME, DIVINE?
(IT DOESNT HURT TO BE TALL AND DOE- EYED)

AND WE LIKED IT SO MUCH, WE'RE ALSO MAKING ISABEL IN A RAMBLING GREEN AND PINK ROSE PRINT, WHICH WE WILL SHARE WITH YOU AS SOON AS OUR TIRED LITTLE FINGERS CAN FINISH HER.

WE REALLY DIG MADE TO ORDER.
WE LIKE TO THINK THAT REAL LUXURY IS
HAVING SOMETHING MADE ESPECIALLY FOR YOU.
THATS TRUE OF BREAKFAST, SHOES AND HATS,
AND SUMMER DRESSES TOO.
ASK THE HIPPIES ABOUT CUSTOM HERE.
